The 50 Day Challenge

Little introduction into the 50 day challenge which will start next week for me. #50daysstraight.

The 50 Day Challenge
A long journey ahead - with discipline straight to the top

Hey guys!

You probably heard about the "50 day Challenge" before and maybe already seen some daily vlogs on Instagram. It became quite popular now and more and more people are joining the challenge. Live spoiler: ME finally TOO.

As far as I know this challenge was brought into the world by the guys of "state of mind" - They run a clothing business and they call it "project 50".

I came across their page and liked the idea of this kind of challenge. I'm honest tho: I hesitated couple months, before making the decision to actually do the challenge. The rules are simple, but still type of intimidating, because you gotta follow them for 50 days straight! Well damn.

We gonna make it 'cause giving up ain't no option!

Never the less I see a lot of benefits and that's why on February first 2022 the challenge will start for me.

Here are my rules:
  1. Wake up early (8 am.)
  2. Workout (1 h)
  3. Read 30 mins
  4. No alcohol / no parties
  5. Draw something for 30 mins
  6. Journal everyday
  7. Create a daily vlog
Here is my general impression about the rules:

I want to improve my video taking- and editing skills, so the daily documentation in video form is helpful for the getting-better process. Also for gaining new and more followers on Instagram- this is the fun part for me.

Waking up early sounds quite difficult, it means going to bed early (surprise!) and guess what: I don't like both.

Going to the gym on the other hand is easy. I like it and it does not seem too hard since working out is part of my routine already.

The reading part also seems kinda easy. I like to read and I need to write some articles for the book review section, so this rule comes in handy.

The drawing rule: I want to be able to draw and that's why this rule is the most exciting one. I will basically start at zero and I am really curious how this skill will develop over 50 days. 50 days x 30 min of practice = crazy results. Let's see!

The no party and no liquor rule seems to be the most difficult: Can't remember when I did not have a drank for such a long time. I don't drink by myself and not often but this "not at all" thing makes it kinda hard. Also when drinking is so normal. No matter who you meet you probably going for a beer. Once in a while is ok but in this case not even one is possible. But with discipline this won't be that hard.

Alright: One more day to prepare and from next week I'll be also in the game. Imma call it "50DaysStraight". Give it a personal touch nah I mean ;)

And of course imma keep you updated and give you real honest reviews and experience insights. Follow my Instagram @raja_sahil7 to stay tuned!

Enjoy life and bless up
