50 Day Challenge UPDATE 1

Hey guys!

The first week of the 50 day challenge is done and here is the first update.

I will explain which rule was the most difficult and the most easy to execute. Additionally I'll give you my personal insights and thoughts about changes and development. Let's get straight into it!

Most difficult: First things first I'll be honest with ya'll: Waking up at 8 o clock was for sure the most difficult thing to do and it took me like 4 days to adjust my sleeping rhythm. So after 4 days of failing this rule I, managed to wake up at 8 just three times. I think this should get easier day by day.

Most easy: The writing was definitely the most easy thing to do. I mean I journal everyday and I want to grow this blog. I enjoy writing and as expected this was fun. (By the way check the blog post on why you should journal)

Working out was also manageable. I plan to go to the gym from next week again- this week I only did it at home just to get used to it since I did not work out for more than a month.

Drawing for half an hour everyday turned out to be kinda complicated: Honestly I really didn’t know where to start and it took me around 5 days to realize I must build a structure. Just draw something from scratch on a plain sheet of paper leads to absolutely nowhere. Really no fun at all. So I spend some time watching tutorials on YouTube which was helpful because then I was able to create a system. There are a bunch of videos on how to draw for beginners and what are the basics you should know. I hope from next week this will become easier and more straight forward.

Record a daily vlog: This was the rule I was hyped about the most. Turns out this is not easy man. Damn. To post a Instagram reel once in a while is easy and fun but to create one every single day takes a lot of effort. But it is fun for sure. Also I feel that my understanding of filming is making level ups everyday. How to combine shots, how to tell a story in like 10 seconds and what music fits the best. This rule really feels like a challenge whereas the others just feel like ok it needs to get done so imma just do it. Maybe because of the fact that the video is public and people can see what are you doing and you feel the urge to make a good job.

This was the first week and everything still feels kinda new but doable for sure. I am really curious how the skills will develop over time. Skills like drawing and recording daily vlogs. I expect to see great changes if one compares the first video with the 50th - same thing with my drawing notes from today (I swear it looks like shit right now) and the ones in 50 days (Picasso who?).

Aiight that was the update. I'm looking forward to week two. Stay tuned and have a great week ya'll!

Enjoy life and bless up

Sahil :)
